    Duration : In fome they happen periodical¬ ly, every Day about the fame Hour. ^195. It deferves Obfervation, that near the Accefs of the RemiJJion, fome fenfible Excretion, or other, is augmented; com¬ monly, either the Quantity of Urine is in- creafed, or a Sweat happens; which Eva¬ cuations fenfibly abate again before the Aug¬ ment of the Fever; but if no fenfible Eva¬ cuation is increafed, we may then conclude, that inftead thereof, there is an Increafe of infenfible Per fpi rat ion. $ 196. The Reafon of the Remillion, I take to be this, viz. That, by the Force of the animal Organs, the morbid Humours are, in fome Meafure, attenuated, or the febri- fie Particles in (ome confiderable Meafure comminuted, and evacuated: Whence fol¬ lows an Abatement of the febrile Symp¬ toms 5 but that other of the vifeid or fe- brific Particles at the fame Time by attract¬ ing, or being attracted by Particles of the animal Fluids do affimilate them into their own Quality and Bulk, and thereby produce an Increafe of the Fever again. v
