About this work
Description
Fluorescence microscope image of a normal two day
zebrafish embryo which has been stained to show
the optic nerve axons from the two eyes at the
optic chiasm where they cross the midline of the
brain to form the optic tracts. Here, the stain
shows the distribution of the Noi protein which is
involved in eye and optic nerve development.
