Description

Broadside featuring a poem or ballad sheet describing how 2 men stole a corpse from a grave, 10 miles from London, dressed it as a soldier, transported it in a cart and stopped at an inn for a drink. The corpse was discovered by other soldiers one of whom took its place, coming to 'life' and chasing the grave robbers. Printed by J. Catnach, of 2 Monmouth Court, Seven Dials, Covent Garden, London.
