Description

Illustrated label for Parkinsons' (a firm of chemists based in Burnley) cough elixir. "Elixir" has been stuck over the originally printed "Balsam". Printed in yellow, red, pale green and dark blue on white paper illustrated with an engraved portrait of R. Parkinson himself in the centre. Includes directions and dosage.
