About this work

Description

The fourth episode starts with Jim undergoing an interview by professional standards which calls into question his professional credibility. Amelia meanwhile has run away and has decided to contact a separate police force about the murder. Jim has a large amount of psychiatric medication discovered in his drawer at work to call into doubt his sanity. The stress of the investigation starts to take its toll on the wider family. Amelia realises that her efforts to involve another police force are in vain when the sign language expert sent is a female police-officer and the girl-friend of one of the perpertrators of the murder. Jim collects Amelia but realises that he has been followed; they separate and Jim ends up drugged with his wrists slit on waste land. Amelia goes to the boxing club where Rocky, a colleague of the perpetrators, is due to fight a match. She remonstrates with him; he is the only person who can testify that Jim's allegations are true.
