Wales II covers the rest of Wales. : Northern England embraces the counties of Cheshire, Cumberland, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland, Westmorland and Yorkshire. It will be observed that the figures for Wales I and Wales II show opposite extremes, | the figures for England and Wales being (quite roughly) the mean of those for the two: Welsh regions.
