    Mr. John Furley, the well-known ambulance worker of England, has also been very good in giving me his valuable aid. Baron Mundy of Vienna, the leading ambulance authority in Europe, has furnished me in the most liberal manner with copies of his detailed work on Railway Ambulance Systems, of which I have fully availed myself. Ober Stabs Arzt Starke, of the Imperial German Army, has also been very kind in giving me information, and I have utilised several of his woodcuts from his elementary ambulance work.
