    REPORT OF LADIES’ COMMITTEE. Chairman: Mrs. Malcolm Ccmming. Vice-Chairman : Lady Archer, Mrs. Assheton Biddulph, Mrs. Childs, Mrs. Gardiner, Mrs. E. D. L. Harvey. Lady Hurst, Mrs. Gordon King, Mrs. Snklling, Mrs. Swatton. Hon. Secretary: Miss Allcard. TTon Treasurer and Hon. Secretary of Linen Guild : Miss Aldersmith. The Ladies’ Committee has carried on as in past years, visiting patients and helping Matron whenever possible. Miss Aldersmith has managed the Linen Guild, which, besides supplying the Hospital with all necessary linen, purchased new screens and other items wanted in the Wards. The egg collection organised by Mrs. Assheton Bid- dulph was not so large as before, chiefly owing to the season. This year we propose collecting in March, April, and May, so that the weather will not affect the collection. The weather was also responsible for a smaller quantity of vegetables being sent as gifts. We hope that anyone having garden produce to spare will send it to the Hospital. Miss Allcard again took charge of Pound Day, with excellent results, by which the Hospital received large quantities of groceries, apples, and potatoes, and about £65 in money. We are sorry to lose Mrs. Gardiner from the Committee as she has left Billingshurst. Mary Cumming.
