Biographical note

The Maddison Clinic for Preventative Medicine for Older People was founded in Teddington, Middlesex in 1958 by Dr John Maddison. Its aim was to care for the mental and physical health of elderly people in the local area. It was closed in 1994 due to Local Authority budgetary constraints.
