About this work

Physical description

1 print : line engraving ; platemark 18.9 x 13.3 cm

Lettering

There are a crew of fellows I suppose/ That angle for their victualls with their nose/ As quick as beagles in the smelling sence/ To smell a feast in Paules 2 miles from thence.

Notes

For two other prints in this series see record nos. 27049i, 27055i in this catalogue. Possibly by George Glover, though Hind's description is not precise enough to identify them securely with Glover's series
