LETTEES PATENT to Jules Denoual, of Samares Lodge, St. Clements, Jersey, for the Invention of “Certain Improved Means op Enveioping Medicinal Preparations with Soluble Substances.’* Sealed the 6th July 1855, and dated the 14th April 1855. (Void by reason of the Patentee having neglected to file a Specification in pursuance of the conditions of the Letters Patent.) PROVISIONAL SPECIFICATION left by the said Jules Denoual at the Office of the Commissioners of Patents, with his Petition, on the 14th April 1855. I, Jules Denoual, of Samares Lodge, St. Clements, Jersey, do hereby 5 declare the nature of the said Invention for “Certain Improved Means op Enveloping Medicinal Preparations with Soluble Substances” to be as follows:— The medicinal preparations which I propose to envelope with soluble substances are in the form and shape of pills, and the soluble substances are IQ composed of gelatine, loaf sugar, gum arabic, and water, or other suitable combinations. The improved means by which I effect this covering or coating to pills consist of a machine, of which Fig. A on the accompanying Drawing is a representation.
