The two plates are a portrait of Charleton and an engraving of the "Theatrum Cutlerianum". The engraved portrait is signed: D. Loggan ad vivum delin. et. sculp: 1697.
An extensively rewritten edition of the Natural history of nutrition. Cf. H. Rolleston in Bull. hist. med., v. 8 (1940), p. 413.
Although the work was intended to include six praelections, only the following were published: I. Of nutrition; IV. Of life; V. Of fevers; VI. Of motion voluntary.
