About this work

Description

Molecular model of the angiogenin - placental ribonuclease inhibitor complex. Placental ribonuclease inhibitor (PRI - blue) is found in many tissues and binds to many intracellular and extracellular RNAses but with very high affinity to angiogenin. PRI may be important in holding RNAses in a latent form until they are needed, thus helping to regulate the turnover of cellular RNAs.
