    XXVI. Capt. Kejllet, Downing-ftreet, Weftminfter. About nine Years ago I began to be af¬ flicted with the Gravel, and an uneafy feel¬ ing about the Kidneys. The Year following the Tunbridge Waters had fo good an EffeCt upon me that I voided a very great Quantity of white Gra¬ vel in one Night, which I fhewed the next Day to the late Mr. Craddock the Surgeon, who faid he be¬ lieved it to have been a Stone juft formed, that had been diftolved and for a confiderable Time after I had no Complaints; nor did I find myfelf very uneafy till about three Years and a half ago, when I had regular Fits of Vomiting, and ftrong Cholicks every three Weeks or Month without voiding any Thing, alfo a conftant Heat and Weight in my Back which grew worfe perpetually. I began Mrs. Stephens's Medicines the 15th of October 1736, and have had but one bad Fit fince, which was the 12th of May following, at which time I made a fmall Quantity of bloody Water, a Thing that never happened to me but once before. I now never feel the dilagreeable Senfation in my Back, but upon the paffing of Wind in the Parts there¬ abouts, and then only in a fmall Degree. My Urine is frequently charged with a white Sediment which falls immediately, and dries into a chalky Subftance. I have taken theft Medicines with the utmoft Re¬ gularity ever fince I began them, and find my ge¬ neral Health fo very much improved, that I Jfhall continue them in hopes of a perfeft Cure.
