    IT ISOLATION HOSPITAL ACCOMMODATION. The Isolation Hospital Accommodation in the County is as set out in my previous Annual Reports, and more particularly in my report for 1914. SMALL POX HOSPITAL ACCOMMODATION. A new Agreement has been entered into with the Brighton Corporation for admission of Small Pox Cases in this County into their Hospital at Bulking. Under the terms of this agreement, two beds are reserved for the use of patients in this County, and permission has also been given for the erection of Huts in the Hospital Grounds should the occasion arise. The charge for maintenance for one patient is to be £7 7s. per week, or any portional week, and £5 per week, or any portional week, for any number of patients over one. This charge includes Nursing, Medicines, Food and all other requisites, but not Medical attendance. The Count ^Council have also approved Supplementary estimates of £590 for the erection of Huts, and £200 for the equipping of same, should the necessity arise. Patients will be conveyed from this County by the Brighton Corporation. The County Coun¬ cil have an Agreement with Dr. W. A. Powell to attend their cases at the Hospital. RIVERS POLLUTION PREVENTION ACTS. No action was taken by the County Council or the Local Sanitary Authorities during the year. BLIND PERSONS ACT, 1920. The County Council have delegated their duties under this Act to the Public Health and Housing Committee, who, in turn, have availed themselves of the services of the West Sussex Association for the Blind, established in 1921. The Association have made themselves responsible for the Registra¬ tion and general supervision of the blind in this area. The Education Committee continue to deal with children of school age and with older persons requiring education and special training in Institutions for the Blind.
