Description
Associate professor in thoracic surgery and specialist registrar performing a pectus excavatum, or funnel chest modified ravitch procedure. Pectus excavatum is a congenital disorder where the ribs and sternum form abnormally causing the appearence of a collapsed or sunken chest. This patient is undergoing surgical correction for the condition.
