About this work

Description

Dr. Marco Rossi, Consultant Neuropathologist at Runwell Hospital, Essex, examines different examples of human brains presenting evidence of trauma or disease. Through external examination or partial dissection, the viewer is able to see the damage to the brain after a road traffic accident and in another example, observe the effects of Alzheimer's Disease on its structure. Dr. Rossi examines the brains of a man with Parkinson-like symptoms; a stroke victim; and a middle-aged woman with hemiplegia.
