Radiobiology Forum Subcommittee

Established in 1962 by MRC to study clinical and experimental data from the point of view of their relevance to the problem of assessment of risk at low doses and dose-rates and to study the concepts of permissable levels. The Committee held forum meetings where workers in the appropriate fields were invited to report their work and plans and discuss them in relation to the practical problem of radiation protection. A small steering committee was also set up to organise the meetings and business of the Radiobiology Subcommittee. The Subcommittee was chaired by Prof L F Lamerton.
