About this work

Description

The temple formerly known as Wat Seua, which fell into decay after 1767 and was restored by King Mongkut around 1863. The photograph shows the complex of buildings while restoration was still in progress. Thomson took the photograph from high up on Pisai-Sanlak Tower, a four storey building 22 cm high.
