It will he seen by the foiegoing figures, that over 71 per cent, of the male attendants have been in the service more than five years, whilst 45 per cent, have been in the service for periods above ten years. Of the female attendants 38 per cent, count above five years’ service, whilst over 20 per cent, count above ten years. Leave of absence for the day is granted every ninth day; and, in addition, every attendant has a holiday of ten days annually.
