About this work

Description

Diecut, folded, multiple layer valentine's card, showing a boy carrying a heart (garlanded with pink roses) and a girl in a pale blue wheelbarrow. There are six smaller hearts at their feet on the grass. 2 pink roses form a separate layer at the frontand rest on a red honeycomb puff base. Filigree work and embossing are used on all 4 sections, especially the back which consists of violets, forget-me-nots and lillies of the valley backed with red tissue paper behind the filigree work. The message, "To my valentine" is printed in red on what folds down to be the base.
