Description

Posset pot. English delftware. Polychrome, imitation Chinese design. This has been attributed to Niglett, Bristol, circa 1730, but is more probably Lambeth circa 1690 (Cf. Garner, F.H. English delftware, London, 1948, Plates 34 & 35).
