Trachoma transmission risk factor: flies on faces of children

This Ethiopian girl is carrying her baby sibling on her back. Both children have flies on their faces which have been attracted to discharge from their eyes and nose. Flies can transmit Chlamydia trachomatis between family members who are in close contact.
