    Simeon, Extr. Hooper s Medicinal Compounds. Of cordial and antispasmodic ingredients, prepared by distillation and infusion. The powder to promote pains is prepared of warm, stimulateing ingredients, and given about a scruple for a dose. The other powder to ease the after pains is prepared of uterine and antidolorific ingredients, and given in the same dose as the former. 5 And the other new-invented medicines, called by the name of the say) :— The balsam is compounded of dissolving and discusing ingredients, infused in a proper menstruum, and to be used full and change of the moon. The 1( power is compounded of attinuating and antifebril strengthening ingredients, and given about a scruple in a dose when the balsam is used. In witness whereof, I, the said John Hooper, have hereunto set my hand and seale, the Fifth day of October, One thousand seven hundred and fifty-two. 11 JN° HOOPER. Acknowledged at Reading, in the County of Berks, by the above-named , John Hooper (being first duly stampt) before me on the day and year last 2f above-written, Hen. Simeon, A Master Extraordinary in Chancery. AND BE IT REMEMBRED, that the Fifth day of October, in the year above written, the aforesaid John Hooper came before our said Lord the g, King in His Chancery, and acknowledged the Xnvencon aforesaid, and all J and every thing therein contained and specifyed, in form above written.
