Description

Lectures on operative surgery. Notes by an unnamed student. (Incomplete.) This volume contains the portion of the lectures from 'Aneurism' to 'Diseases of the hip'. A few of the entries are assigned to 'Mr Cline' (i.e. Henry Cline [1750-1827]), but 'Mr Hunter' appears to be named as the lecturer, in several passages from fol. 21 onwards. Signature of Bonamy Maingay [c. 1900?] on a fly-leaf. Produced in London.

1 volume ff. 15-190. 8vo. 191/2 × 121/2 cm. Original half-calf binding, worn. The first 14 ff. are wanting, and the end is missing. Written partly on the rectos only.
