After hearing the evidence of Mr. George fox, a merchant, residing at 31, Gloucester-place, Pad- lington, Mr. Mansfield said:—“ This is a case in which he law must he enforced. This gentleman has his child II, and has been subjected to great annoyance and incon- enience through a continuation of such noises, which are ncouraged by other people. They get such a person as he wretched prisoner before me now and cause him to ontinue his nuisance to the annoyance of respectable people, n this case I must inflict a fine, and the folks who get these aen into their trouble must be taught that their neighbours annot be subjected to such noises in front of their houses, ispecially in the case of sickness. I shall inflict the full ne in this case—that is 40s.; in default of payment Tovara to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for one lonth, and I shall continue to put the law in full force in very case brought before me where there is conviction. ■Ir.
