S. A., died at Centerville, Cal., on Nov. 10, 1888 or 89. Dr. Arthur Kemble, Salem, Mass. Dr. Osborne, Peabody, Mass. Dr. J. F. Broughter died in the service as related in records of Dr. McLain. Dr. J. W, Powell served with the 5th Cavalry on the Big Horn and Yellowstone expedition of 1876, as related in Capt. King's book Campaigning with Crook. 14
