Photograph of a page (folio 15 verso) from the manuscript title: Chirurgia Albucasum (Surgical Treatise) by Albucasis (Khalaf ibn Abbas Abu al Kasim, also known as al-Zahrawi). Originally in Arabic, this manuscript was translated into Latin by Gerard of Creinona and is dated from the early 14th Century. The original can be found at the British Library under the reference Add MS 36617. Museum Add. Ms. 36617
