Description

Hand-drawn illustration using ink and watercolour on paper. 'Epidural' depicts a female patient sat down curled up in a ball, with an IV fluid bag delivering epidural anaesthesia into her spine. Following hip-replacement surgery, the artist recorded her experiences and emotions during her post-operative recovery.
