Original lantern slides of preps from cultures prepared by Mr J.P. Laws (demonstrator physiology, Oxford). Work done in connection with Burdon-Sanderson and Sir George Buchanan of the Loc. Gov. Bd. 1885 Oxford. Rec[eive]d from Dr Laws 14.11.28" Most of the negatives inscribed with a date in October 1885, magnification details e.g. "x390", and the initials RLM. One is crossed through and inscribed "Four hours passed during exposure"
