Description

Monochrome watercolour and pencil drawing of an oesophageal pouch. Copied from original lithograph by Dr John Guise Westmacott which was published in Ogle, John William. "Pouch like dilation of the lower part of the pharynx, symptoms in many respects resembling those of organic stricture." 'Transactions of the Pathological Society' vol XVII (1866) pp141-142. The specimen was once preserved in the Pathology Museum, St George's Hospital, London, No.15a or IX.14.
