The other lettering indicates the number of columns of printed text which an engraving of this design would occupy: originally four, later reduced to two Published with verses entitled "Lass dir Zeit!" by "Wast" (nickname for Sebastian, a pseudonym): "Der Tod geht durch die Lande / Und erntet da und dort -- / Im neuen Zeit-Gewande / Holt er die Menschen fort. / Mit fuatternden Motoren / Jagt er los auf sein Ziel, / Als hätt' er sich geschworen / Was er erreichen will. / Die Rücksicht auf den andern / Gar häufig dabei fehlt, / Wo kann man heut noch wandern / In Ruh' auf dieser Welt? / Pressieren tut's halt immer / -- Auch wenn's gar nicht pressiert --. / Pressieren tut es nimmer / Ist erst etwas passiert. / Wir brauchen keine Seuchen, / Auch keinen Krieg mehr führ'n. / Wir tun heut durchs "Derrennen" / Schon genug Leut' verlier'n."
