Six letters from Willis, including certificates of reference for Thomas M Stone, 1837-1841, regarding his work in the Library; letter to Mr Cooper, Chairman of the Library Committee, Royal College of Surgeons, concerning purchasing books from the library of the late Professor South of Strasburg and forwarding the sale catalogue, undated; and letter to unknown recipient returning a portrait of Albinus and regretting the business with Mr Stone who he thinks should apologise to the recipient publicly, undated.

Biographical note
Librarian of the Royal College of Surgeons and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians, Lecturer on the Practice of Medicine in the Aldersgate Street School of Medicine, biographer of William Harvey (1578-1657), wrote various other medical books on diseases of the skin, brain anatomy and physiology.
