It would be interesting to compare the absorption-bands of these two iron-free pigments, both of which have their origin in the coloring-matter of the blood. It is evident that the diminution in the amount of urine-pigment may be in relation to the excess of pigment in the skin. The observations of Thudichum await further confirma- tion.
