Description

A black and white reproduction of a print publication of Saint Valerie of Limoges standing inbetween two children, with her head in her hands. The French text reads the version of the legend where Duke Stephen of Guyenne (Aquitaine), a pagan man, asked for her hand in marriage and subsequently beheaded her upon her refusal based on her Christian faith.
