About this work

This patient has visible impairment of the fingers due to a vascular occlusive disorder. There was severe pain, numbness and tingling of the fingers and toes which led to gangrene and impairment. Differential diagnosis: other possible diagnosis for this presenting sign includes leprosy, however this can be eliminated as the anaesthesia was confined to the gangrenous part and there was no thickening or tenderness of nerves.
