Biographical note

The Wonder season was inspired by, and ran alongside, the British Neuroscience Association's Festival of Neuroscience, a scientific conference which brought together experts in brain research from around the world. These events took place at the Barbican Centre in London in April 2013.

Through a month-long programme of public events and activities, Wonder sought to bring the public into direct contect with researchers, to provide them with new insights into neuroscience and its implications for everyday life, and to provide researchers with new perspectives on their work. The season featured hands-on experiments, film, music, talks and theatre and catered for all ages.
