Description

Two boys outside a tent, in the background a brick wall. Every winter in imperial China, a great number of Mongols travelled to Beijing, bringing with them herds of cattle, quantities of frozen game, and of course the rich furs. At the back of the British Legation in Dongjiao minxiang, there was a market where the Mongols gathered and set up their tents
