    Payment of Patients. Annual Meeting of Subscribers. Special General Meetings. RULES—continued VIII. —Each patient shall pay a weekly sum towards the Hospital expenses, the amount of which shall be fixed by the Committee in proportion to the circum¬ stances of each case. IX. —The financial year shall end on December 31st, at which date a Statement of Accounts shall be pre¬ pared. There shall be an Annual Meeting of Subscribers in the month of January in each year, to be convened by the Secretary and of which at least seven days notice shall be given, when the Statement of Accounts for the past year shall be submitted, the Committee and Officers elected and any other necessary business trans¬ acted. X. —A special Ceneral Meeting of Subscribers may be called at any time by the Secretary on a request in writing signed by six subscribers. New Rules. XI.—No new rule nor any alteration in an existing rule shall be made except at the Annual General Meet¬ ing, or at a special General Meeting of the Subscribers. Subscriptions are due on 1st January each year, and may be paid to the National Provincial Bank, Ltd., Whitchurch, “Cottage Hospital Account,” or to the Secretary — Mr. Edward South, F.C.P.A, 14, St. Mary’s Street, Whitchurch. An Appeal ! The Whitchurch Cottage Hospital is carefully administered and managed by your elected repre= sentatives. It supplies a need in the Town and District which is worthy of your voluntary support. We therefore look to you to continue to do everything possible to maintain this worthy Institution.
