Description
An episode in 'Caroline de Lichtfield, ou mémoires d'une famille prussienne', by Isabelle de Montolieu, 1786. The count Edouard de Walstein thinks Caroline has a miniature portrait of his rival Lindorf in her bosom, but she takes it out and shows him that it is a portrait of himself (1786 edition, vol.
