![mï Ж] TROY YOUNG MEN'S ASSOCIATION. KEGUL ATION S. I. The Library shall be open daily (Sundays, holidays and days desig¬ nated by the Trustees, excepted), during such hours as shall be named ìh a notice to be posted in the rooms of the Association. II. Any person of good deportment may use the Reading Rooms. III. Any inhabitant of the City of Troy, over fifteen years of age, may use the Library, by registering his or her name and residence, and by com¬ plying with such regulations as may be prescribed by the Trustees and with either of the following conditions : 1. By furnishing satisfactory security in the form prescribed by the Trustees. 2. By depositing with the Librarian the sum of Three Dollars, or such greater sum as may be required, as an equivalent of the book desired. Such deposit shall be subject to the payment therefrom of any fine or charges or both, incurred by such depositor, and of any damage to a book or for its loss. Such deposit shall be kept good by the depositor, and any remainder thereof shall be returned to the depositor on demand, when such depositor shall have returned all books drawn by such depositor from the Library. But no security nor deposit shall be required of Life members or Trustees. IV. Any non-resident of Troy over fifteen years of age, may use the Library by paying annually in advance, the sum of $3, and by depositing with the Librarian the further sum of $3, or such greater sum as may be required, asan equivalent for the volume desired. Such deposit shall be subject to the same rules as are set forth for the deposit in Regulation III. V. Works of reference, illustrated books and such other publications as the Trustees may withhold from circulation, are to be used only in the Consultation Room. VI. One volume is to be taken at a time, but two volumes of small size of the same work may be taken at a time, if the Librarian approves, and the book or books so taken may be retained for a period not longer than two weeks. Any book labeled One Week Book, shall not be retained longer than one week. A fine of Three Cents a day shall be paid on each book not returned according to the above regulations, to which fine shall be added any expense connected with the collection of such fine and the non-return of the book.
