Prophecie en voorsegginge van voorgaene, tegenwoordige en toecommedinge geschiedenisse en toeval van alderlystande, des vroomes tot vermaeninge en troost, de boose tot en schrick, en waerschouwinge tot het eynde te vercondige. Als Doctori Paracelsi Johan Lichtenbergers, Mr. Josephi Groenpech, Johan Carions, der Sibylle, en andere. Incomplete: containing Paracelsus and Lichtenberger only: with ff. 3-21 of the printed text inserted. The Lichtenberger section of the MS., which is complete, is illustrated with 34 small woodcuts, cut out from a 16th century quarto edition, and pasted in. The title of this work (p.37) as translated into Dutch is: 'Practica van Mester Johan Lichtenberger vande groote Coniunti Saturni en Jovis desgelyk van de Eclipsis der Sonne, in voorgaende jaere dwerende tot men schrypt McccccLxvii jaer alle stande der werlt qwuede en goede toevalle te vercondige met veel wonderlyke figuren'. In the Register on the verso of the third preliminary leaf, the date given to the Paracelsus item seems to have been originally written 1550, and afterwards altered to 1560. This Register includes the missing works by the other Authors mentioned in the title.

Biographical note

Ff. 1, 2, 20 and all after fol. 21 are wanting from the printed work which is the 'Propheceien und Weissagungen' of Paracelsus, No. 27 of Sudhoff's Bibliography, and according to him, printed not long after 1549. Fol. 3 is partly covered over, fol. 19 laid down.
