Description
Manuscript letter pasted into front cover of Memoir of Leonard Horner consisting of letters to his family and from some of his friends edited by his daughter Katharine M Lyell, vol 1, London: Women's Printing Society, 1890. Stated that this memoir had taken her some time. Her sister, Lady Banbury, had the letters and then passed them to her. She hoped that Galton would be glad to read the record of his "father's old friend". Manuscript inscription "Francis Galton with regards from the Editor".
