About this work

Description

Observed at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, though the surgical team for this operation came to the hospital from outside. The woman from whom the eggs are extracted lies on a table, right, her thighs apart. A surgeon sits in front of her, removing the eggs. On the surgeon's right, a relay of helpers pass the eggs to the person on the left, who fertilises them with a syringe
