Written Notes: "Psychology 86"

Set of handwritten notes by Charnley, including: poems; research notes on psychology (covering Freud, in particular); artist statements and writings about his artworks; personal writings (including extensive writing about suicide) and some dated diary entries; frequent entries entitled, 'Notes on Unexplained'; and research and thoughts on schizophrenia. There are also some sketches and diagrams throughout.

These pages were originally kept in a grey ring binder which had the title, 'Psychology 86', on the label. Despite this, all the dated writings in the papers are from 1987. There were dividers in the folder grouping the pages. These have been left in with the papers but the reason for the groupings in not clear.
