About this work

Description

This film narrates and shows a double transplant (heart and lung) on an animal. There is a short introductory sequence to camera explaining the importance of these kinds of experiments in the need for gaining knowledge of this procedure (although the narrated sections are very intermittent). In particular, it is the care and transportation of the still living transplanted organ within the surgical setting which is described.
