Description
This photograph album was compiled by Pontecorvo's colleagues and friends in the Department of Genetics at the University of Glasgow as a gift for his 80th birthday. Contains photographs of the Institute of Genetics, old friends and colleagues, Glasgow and Loch Lomond, and 80th birthday celebrations in Pisa, Italy. Copies of photographs were submitted by friends and colleagues and added to the album.

Arrangement
The photographs have been removed from the original album and repackaged in melanex sleeves in a large ring binder for preservtion reasons. The photographs have been rearranged in sleeves in the same order they appeared in the original album. Loose negatives and prints were repackaged in sleeves and placed at the end of the ringbinder.
