    As foon as I had read Mr. Gold fan’s pamphlet, which was very lately, I availed my felf of the earlieft opportunity to fet on foot thefe lefts of Variolation, and expo- fure to the fulled infection of the Small¬ pox that could be devifed, which will be detailed in the courfe of this little work, and which I offer to the public as my contribution towards arriving at a decifion of a momentous queftion in which we are all engaged.
