    head, which the Visitors trust there will be no necessity to increase. The Provisions supplied to the Asylum have been very good. The Water supply has been most ample, and the quality of the Water most satisfactory. The details of the numbers of the Patients, with their Discharges, Cures and Deaths, and the general sanitary condition of the Asylum, will be found stated in the Report of Dr. Robertson, the Medical Superintendent, whose care and management of the Patients have given great satisfaction to your Committee. The Farm is in good condition, and has much improved in appearance and productiveness. It is a source of much benefit to the Patients, by whom the greater part of the' work is performed. , i V - - ' - - - t The Chaplain, whose attention to his charge is very satisfactory, has made his Report,,which we lay.before the Court. The, conduct of the Officers of the Establishment, both Male and Female, has been generally good, and their care of and attention to the Patients satisfactory. Your Com¬ mittee have been depriyed by death of the assistance of the late. JMr.; Kell, who had been the Clerk to the yisitors from the. time the erection of the Asylum was first considered; and from the loss of his valuable services and the regard felt for him by the Visitors, this has been the source of much regret. The Committee have appointed as his successor Mr. II, Jones, of Lewes, who has been many years the assistant of Mr. Kell, and who is thoroughly conversant with the details, of the Asylum. .
