Various items of business correspondence, including copy letters by Burroughs, many manuscript letters in draft (often verso the copy letters), some notes, orders, and some letters received. The material is from the period August to December 1892.

Includes:

12 August, 1892. Rough proof (with Burroughs's revision and comments) of a Burroughs Wellcome & Co order form in Italian.

7 September, 1892. Postcard, from Offenburgh, Germany, on leather Tabloid cases.

5 October, 1892. Postcard, from New Haven, Sussex, to Sudlow: "I purpose buying a 1/20th share in Rosbach Syndicate...."

10 December, 1892. A note on Menthol Plasters, requesting the production of a circular substituting the word "Capsicum" for "Menthol": "In this way the plaster sold by us will please the Doctors much better than the old way which is quackism."
